Leidos has an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to work on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC). In this position the engineer will work on projects involving the development and certification of spaceflight hardware and also periodically perform sustaining tasks for CMC hardware in support of NASA's International Space Station (ISS), Orion, Human Landing System (HLS) and Gateway Programs. The team works with commercial software such as IBM Maximo, MS SharePoint, and Creo Parametric, in addition to CMC custom software. Support of tests and other activities may be required outside of normal working hours.
- Support hardware development projects to certify, flight-configure, and deliver new hardware for spaceflight
- Create and maintain project resource-loaded schedules in MS Project Professional
- Develop basis-of-estimates (BOEs) for new work
- Author and monitor work orders, purchase requests, non-conformance reports, internal/external customer presentations, designs, and trade studies
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience using MS Project, MS Sharepoint, and Creo Parametric
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams and customers
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust background investigation. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status is required.
Pay Range:Pay Range $44,200.00 - $68,000.00 - $91,800.00
