The Leidos SES Ports and Borders Division seeks a Director of Installations with a demonstrated history of executing programs and delivering P&L targets in a highly-regulated commercial businesses. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Division Manager for Ports and Borders.
This Director of Installations will have the proven ability to operate a business with multiple service/product offerings, a track record of building and sustaining a culture of operational excellence, and a proven ability to execute to an annual operating plan. The role requires experience managing projects and resource deployments within the Continental US and international locations. This position will be accountable for the highest levels of service to U.S. federal, state, international customers and markets. This position will plan, organize, and manage resources, to bring about successful completion of operational goals and management of KPIs by interfacing with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel, to ensure that all projects run within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Primary Responsibilities;
- Responsible for coordination and planning of all non-intrusive inspection (NII) equipment, radiation detection equipment (RDE) product deployments including commissioning, decommissioning and relocations
- Manages Project Managers & Installation Technicians
- Cross functionally works with Sales, Product Management, Finance and Program Management to ensure flawless deployment execution
- Manages field testing and qualifications
- Works with local stakeholders to ensure Leidos is represented properly in project planning and execution
- Ability to scope projects and estimates for future bids and proposals
- Drives revenue opportunities related to projects supporting the Ports and Borders P&L
- Effectively budgets project management to enhance Leidos’ competitive position
- Ensures EH&S standards are in place on all projects
- Coordinates a smooth transition to field service after commissioning
Qualifications:
- Able to secure a public trust security clearance
- Able to travel up to 33%
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $124,800.00 - $192,000.00 - $259,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
