Leidos is in search of a multi-talented Senior Producer to join our studio with an existing team of artists, programmers, and designers in creating “cutting edge” Virtual Reality (VR) and PC advanced training for the United States Air Force. Our client is a visionary leader that is bringing VR and digital training to the forefront of Air Force technical and specialty training for Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) analyst and operators around the world. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your proven industry experience to create realistic and immersive environments for U.S. Air Force training.
As a Senior Producer, you will be to manage the day-to-day production and development of photorealistic digital assets optimized to run in real time modern game engines for PC and VR applications. You will adhere to standard industry best practices and work closely with all disciplines to help resolve development issues, enable workflow through collaboration, track schedules, burn downs, and prioritize tasks, to deliver high quality results. You will collaborate with an experienced Agile Project Manager and Creative Director to plan and execute immersive training in both PC and VR. You will be required to facilitate full-scale production of synthetic environments and digital models that include but is not limited to military aircraft, weapons, vehicles, communication equipment, environmental elements (trees, sky, water, landscapes etc.), buildings/structures, and characters. Attention to detail and the ability to replicate objects to accuracy is key to achieving our client’s requirements. Responsibilities:
Own the project, empowering the studio development team to reach success.
Lead daily stand-ups, meeting schedules, track conversation via notes and create action items.
Master the project schedule. Work with leadership to build and maintain project schedules.
Manage project risk and keep stakeholders informed.
Exemplify professionalism, provide clear communication, both verbal and written.
Provide leadership and direction through solid planning and project execution.
Qualifications:
8+ years of direct experience in a production role managing cross-functional teams in the creation of video games or virtual training.
Bachelor’s degree (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
Production experience utilizing Unreal Engine in marketing, film, video game, or Defense industry.
Ability to collaborate with Creative Director and Project Managers on project scope, design, methodology and support quality control as directed.
Direct working experience with JIRA or similar software for both task tracking and scrum boards.
Ability to create, track, and maintain complex schedules.
Proficient in running team and schedule within agile methodologies.
Must be able to conduct functional/play testing quality assessments and provide detailed feedback to redirect production team for rework as needed.
Strong understanding of software development process and project management fundamentals.
Ability to act as a stakeholder and own the quality and integrity of each software deliverable.
Deep knowledge of game production or software development pipelines.
Strong work ethic that strives for continuous process improvement and production efficiency.
Ability to work in a dynamic cross-functional environment in a 100% remote working environment.
Ability to obtain security clearance (requires US citizenship).
Desired Qualifications:
Current Top Secret security clearance
Experience as digital artist or game or general software developer.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $111,000.00 - $149,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
