The Leidos Civil group is seeking Civil Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) program, providing support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) programs (AJW-242). This position is 100% remote.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reviewing assessments performed by others, identifying needs, and consolidating multiple needs into groups of similar needs, so that the number of new origination required per site is minimized
- Researching existing riginations entries and modifying the scope of proposed new originations to avoid duplication of existing approved NAPs/JCNs(Job Control Number)s
- Coordinating with the SSCs (System Service Center) and District Office, DO/ National Aerospace System, PMO and ATCF Program Managers/ offices to confirm that proposed originations are valid and reflect current needs
- Coordinating with Service Area Program Implementation Managers and Requirements Specialists to resolve potential conflicts between proposed new proposed originations and existing proposed originations /JCNs, and identifying JCNs that need CIP (Capital Investment Plan changes or detailed requirement Information
- Creating new originations
- Work with the UIS P.O (Program Office) to enhance the capabilities of the UIS databases and update the database as needed
- Provide support to the P.O. on other UIS asset related tasks
- Coordinate with the UIS P.O to maintain and update database record as necessary
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree from a 4-year ABET-accredited College/University with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 2 to 6 years of
Knowledge of UIS , Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment facilities and Air Traffic Organization.
Knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning ,HVAC, power, general building construction techniques, hazmats.
Knowledge of Corporate Work Plan, CWP 4.0

Pay Range:
Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
