The Security Enterprise Solutions Operation within the Civil Group of Leidos is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in support of international contracts. This critical role will provide overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws per country. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide the oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitoring major contracts for international based contracts and local lead or assist in key negotiations, resolve performance issues, identify risks and associated mitigations, ensure compliance with Leidos policies, procedures as well as international contract requirements.
- Portfolio will include complex international contracts and some commercial contracts.
- Provide advice and counsel to Group counterparts and less experienced Contracts staff as needed.
- Regularly interact with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required.
- Attend early capture sessions to determine specific information and requirements in order to apply the correct contracts skills, techniques, methods and resources for the group thus meeting Leidos’ as well as the customer’s expectations and objectives.
- Develop or review prime contract flowdown documents to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements and to minimize company liability
- Support internal/external audit activities as well as data request from internal / external customers.
- International and Direct Commercial Sales contracts management experience is preferred
Education and Experience
- Bachelor 's degree and 12+ years of related experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Expert knowledge within international contracts arena with particular emphasis on proposal support and risk mitigation.
- Excellent negotiation skills, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.
- Must have experience with all contract types and a working knowledge of FAR.
- Knowledge in government contracts, municipal, and commercial contracts.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must have the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with executive management and staff regarding Contracts
issues with high degrees of complexity and work issues to resolution, including experience in presenting to and briefing senior leadership.
- Ability to collaborate and establish relationships internally within the Leidos community.
- Experience as Contracts lead on large proposals is required.
- Bilingual ability is preferred
- Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
