Job Description:
The Leidos AIE team has an opening for a Cyber Security Engineer in our Cyber and Cloud Operations team. This opening supports our program that is being deployed to Army installations in CONUS, AK, HI and PR. Our home base is in Edgewood MD which houses the program team, warehouse operations, system integration lab, 24x7 Help Desk operation, engineering center and full-scale replicas of ACS for installations to include ACP/Lanes and the Visitor Control Center.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of the system with STIGs and DoD policies
- Review vulnerability scan results and recommend remediation’s
- Apply security principles to assist configuration teams with incorporating security into build and configuration processes
- Develop and update System Security Plans (SSPs) consistent with FISMA requirements
- Develop and maintain SSP, POA&Ms and other artifacts for the Accreditation process
- Create documentation as project deliverables
- Review vulnerability scan results and recommend remediation’s
- Apply security principles to assist configuration teams with incorporating security into build and configuration processes
- Support Command Cyber Readiness Inspections and accreditation efforts
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be familiar the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Must be familiar with Windows 10 and Server 2016 systems, including hardening/lockdown to comply with DoD System Security Requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Security+ certification
- Experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Experience working with Host Based Security System (HBSS)
- Experience performing Vulnerability Scans
- Experience remediating system Vulnerabilities
Pay Range:
Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
