Airborne Solutions Operations currently has an opening for an Site Lead. In this role, you would be responsible for meeting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements, leading and directing the work of the aircraft technicians and for the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft systems, structures, engines and Mission Equipment Package. Additionally, responsible for administrative duties, site logistics and communicating aircraft status daily to the Government Flight Representative (GFR). This is an OCONUS assignment and rotations may vary to meet customer demands.
Primary Responsibilities
Participating in meetings with the GFR in support daily aircraft activities
Work in a team environment manage and solve material and logistics issues.
Coordinate daily aircraft maintenance activities with Maintenance Lead
Ensure that aircraft and operation records are maintained in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
Instruct assigned personnel in all applicable work-related health and safety regulations, and monitors to ensure compliance.
Maintain knowledge of current inventory of materials, equipment, test equipment, etc. to ensure adequacy for current and future maintenance events by reviewing work orders of incoming aircraft to determine labor, parts, and equipment necessary to accomplish the assigned inspection, maintenance and repair. Assist with requesting necessary parts, service, or equipment as required
Collateral duties as defined by the Maintenance Manager and Program Manager
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Five (5) years management experience with good organizational and communications skills
Five (5) years of aircraft material planning for maintenance and/or modification experience
Ability to plan sequence of work in a deployed environment
Experience using MS Word and Excel
Be able to obtain a passport or visa to travel OCONUS and willing to work in Hardship and Hazardous locations
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret security clearance with SCI Read-On
Preferred Qualifications
Active DOD Top Secret security clearance
Ten (10) or more years of aircraft material planning for maintenance and/or modification experience
Experience with commercial and military technical manuals
Experience working under DCMA INST 8210.1
Experience managing aircraft maintenance and personnel in deployed environment

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
