Leidos is hiring a Chief of Staff for the AFNCR ITS program at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Camp Springs, MD. This position will report directly to the AFNCR ITS Program Manager and assist in the execution of all aspects of program performance on this large, dynamic program. A DoD Secret clearance is required; all work is onsite.

Partner with program senior leaders to achieve program success: meet or exceed all Performance Requirements/Service-Level Agreements, maximize award fee, hit financial targets, increase customer satisfaction, and continue positive trajectory of on-contract growth.
Carry out program-wide strategic and operational initiatives. Lead the deployment of people, process, and technology innovations to improve service delivery.
Generate Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for new large project opportunities, ranging from <$1M to $10M+ each.
Maintain risk and opportunity register. Interact with assigned risk/opportunity leads
Ensure timely and quality delivery of CDRLs. Lead preparation and delivery for CDRLs assigned to the PMO.
Maintain program roster, including organizational, location, and contact information for each staff member.
Foster collaboration and retention initiatives across the program team.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Management of Information Systems (MIS), or similar degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience; or master's with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional relevant/specialized training and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Possess a current, full DoD Secret clearance
4+ years of experience leading a team.
Proven experience as a self-starter; successfully operating and producing results with limited day-to-day direction
Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas (e.g., cost, scope, schedule, risk) and phases (e.g., planning, executing, monitoring/controlling) is critical.
Highly proficient (5+ years or certification) in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of program management/scheduling tools and techniques is expected.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
Current certifications such as PMP, Security+, CISSP, etc.
Experience supporting DoD customers.
Experience with Enterprise IT operations in a leadership capacity.
Experience within his/her field; includes extensive accomplishments, recognition by peers, training, and/or certifications directly related to the discipline.
Requires an active Secret clearance
Pay Range:Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
