The Defense Group has an opening for a Program Financial Analyst in the Washington Metro Area. This position reports to the Finance & Business Operations Manager of AFNCR under Air Force Defense Agencies Division. The work location is primarily on Joint Base Andrews (MD), but negotiable. This is an exciting opportunity for FP&A to gain exposure while supporting our Finance leads in efforts to collect and provide solid backup to our customer on our large Air Force National Capital Region program.
Track and ensure accuracy on program labor and material charges weekly
Assist with preparation of invoice packages to customer, including pulling supportive material documentation and collecting work summary details from project managers
Update and maintain internal program labor and cost reports
Work with leads to identify and resolve issues
Support any financial control functions including forecasting, analysis, and reporting when requested
Perform any administrative support requested that will impact the final financial output to the customer (internal/external)
Recent college graduate, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, General Business Administration or other related field from an accredited college/university
Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
Demonstrated experience performing Accounting, Billing, Finance, or Economics-related financial data analysis tasks (experience can be obtained through college coursework/projects, internships or on the job)
Demonstrated intermediate user-level proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to quickly comprehend processes and learn systems and tools
US Citizenship is required
Familiar with our Leidos internal financial and billing tools (ie OBI, SLICs)
Experience with billing/invoicing
Pay Range:Pay Range $38,350.00 - $59,000.00 - $79,650.00
