Leidos is looking for an expert 'Systems Administrator'.
The qualifying individual will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software, and related infrastructure.
•Participate in technical research and development (R&D) discussions/activities to enable continued innovation.
•Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, governing system policies and the multi-factor authentication mechanisms securing the enterprise.
•Experience in datacenter, server environment, and installing and supporting production servers and user workstation enterprise environment.
•Ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures, adhere to organizational standards.
•Perform general Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) management in coordination with the system implementation.
•Be accountable for administering both on premise and cloud-based Microsoft Windows Systems/Domains, Linux servers.
•Support storage platforms including Linux Ceph storage and EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) / Network Attached Storage (NAS) products.
•Bachelors degree and 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
•10 or more years’ systems administration experience, consisting of managing and maintaining Windows AD environment on premise and/or cloud.
•Experience in Microsoft SCCM / MECM for deploying software, enforcing security patch compliance and reporting.
•Mastery knowledge and experience architecting, managing and maintaining Cisco UCS, VMware virtualized server/workstation environment, AWS hybrid cloud, and storage platforms including EMC Isilon NAS and Ceph Linux based storage platforms.
•Experience in hybrid cloud infrastructures, datacenter, server environment, and installing and supporting production servers and user workstation enterprise environment.
•Must be a US Citizen.
•Must have Top Secret Clearance – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Eligible
•AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification, Solutions Architect Certification or other AWS Certification
•Experience in Agile Practices
•Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study,
•Microsoft LPI, RHCSA® or RHCE®, or UCP
•Cisco Professional or Expert Certification
Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
