Program Summary

The Leidos Cyber & SIGINT Solutions (CSS) Operation continues to grow in the Fort Meade and surrounding areas.  Join a tremendous technical team responsible for solving hard problems with true mission relevance on emerging technologies.  

This large, multi-year contract is seeking a Principal Trainer, specializing in SIGINT Systems Engineering, to support the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of large, active collection systems.   

Our legacy of over 20 years as the Prime Vendor gives you the confidence that you will be working with the organization’s top producer of critical SIGINT data. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore the latest capabilities within the Intelligence Community.

Position Summary 

The selected candidate will be responsible for integration, engineering, testing, and sustainment activities related to customer systems. Recent experience within the Customer offices is required, as is current familiarity and hands-on expertise with customer architectures and subsystems.

Basic Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study and 12 or more years related experience.
• A minimum of 5 years systems engineering experience with SIGINT systems.
• Within the last 7 years, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in 4 of the specialization categories below:
  •  (A BS degree in engineering, telecommunications or related field may be substituted for experience in 1 specialization and one specialization must be Systems Engineering):

• Signal Analysis
• Modern Tele-communications System and Networks
• Telephony Switching Systems
• Communications Systems
• Cellular/Personal Communications Systems
• TDM/PCM Multiplexing / Modulation /Switching Systems
• Packet Switching Systems 
• Systems Engineering
• Operating Systems – Linux or Unix  
• Advanced Protocols

• Within the last 7 years, a minimum of 5 years development and integration experience in SIGINT systems with four (4) of the following:

• Switching and Survey 
• Circuit Processing 
• Packet Processing 
• Distribution
• Filtering & Selection
• Monitoring
• Analytic Tools

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a leadership role providing technical supervision to other engineering personnel; solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
