The Leidos Cyber & SIGINT Solutions (CSS) Operation continues to grow in the Fort Meade and surrounding areas.  Join a tremendous technical team responsible for solving hard problems with true mission relevance on emerging technologies.  

This large, multi-year contract is seeking a Telecommunications Systems Administrator to support the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of large, active collection systems.

Our legacy of over 20 years as the Prime Vendor gives you the confidence that you will be working with the organization’s top producer of critical SIGINT data. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore the latest capabilities within the Intelligence Community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages LINUX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.
  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years or systems administration, or systems engineering experience with SIGINT systems.
  • A strong LINUX experience is required.
  • Telecom background (i.e. the structure of a signal, configuration and operation of intel tools).
  • Experience with SIGINT systems or modern telecommunications systems and networks
  • Within the last 5 years, a minimum of 3 years' experience in three (3) of the following (NOTE: A BS in engineering, telecommunications, or related technical field may be substituted for one of the categories below):

-Signal Analysis
-Modern Tele-communications System and Networks
-Telephony Switching Systems
-Communication Systems
-Cellular/Personal Communications Systems
-TDM/PCM Multiplexing / Modulation /Switching Systems
-Packet Switching Systems
-Systems Engineering
-Operating Systems
-Advanced Protocols

  • Within the last 5 years, a minimum of 3 years development and integration experience in SIGINT systems.
  • Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 2 years experience in at least two (2) of the following systems and tools:

-Switching and Survey
-Circuit Processing
-Packet Processing
-Distribution
-Filtering  & Selection
-Monitoring
-Analytic Tools

  • Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 2 years experience with the functionality and inter-processing of packet- and circuit-based HW & SW solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00
