Responsibilities Include:
In collaboration with the Government Voice Systems Lead, the successful candidate will:
Conduct a thorough, building-by-building inventory of all ISDN/POTS subscriber lines at JBAB
Document inventoried subscriber lines and provide data to Government monthly
Use vendor tools such as Verizon’s [email protected] to order/modify/terminate services as requested by customers or the Government Lead
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve problems with installed capabilities
Document telephony architecture using industry standard formats
Analyze interfaces with external service providers and recommend changes needed to maximize resiliency
Support Government engineering, design, acquisition, and integration efforts for upcoming VoIP transition
Interface with network engineering staff and other teams as needed to ensure installed telephone architecture meets required security controls and best practices
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline and 12+ years of direct experience; or master’s degree and 10+ years of experience. Additional relevant/specialized training and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Current, DoD 8570-compliant certification for IAT Level II (e.g., Security + w/CE) prior to start
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
Extensive experience ISDN and VOIP telephony technologies (6+ years)
Experience with developing basic network or system architecture documentation
Possess and demonstrate superb customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks along with extensive knowledge and experience in specialized area of expertise, especially as it relates to the Department of Defense (DoD)
Hands-on experience conducting vulnerability assessment and analysis utilizing SCAP, ACAS/NESSUS, and DISA STIGs
Strong written communications skills to coordinate issues and concerns with team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team environment.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
Experience with the following technologies is desirable:
Commercial telecom equipment and processes
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
Voice systems and outside plant architecture at JBAB, especially assessing, installing, or supporting it directly
Clearance Required:
Requires an active Secret clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
