Leidos is seeking a Data Analyst for a 150+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Program Data Analyst will coordinate and compile data across ICAM services tools and areas to ensure that data addresses business questions for senior leadership's reporting and analysis needs. Will provide data using monitoring tools to evaluate event-based operational responses, real-time system checks and track service response times. These tools will assist the program to tactically and strategically assess established metrics for effectiveness and, if necessary, create optimized metrics response times that more accurately reflect system availability across all ICAM platforms. This position is located in Reston, VA and requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required.
Designs, tests, and documents processes to extract data via Splunk, Elk, and SQL queries.
Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.
Performs data collection, analysis, validation and reporting.
Experience with Tableau reporting
Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization.
Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables
Coordinates with the Sponsor, understands the Sponsor’s technical and mission intent and operationalizing technical solutions that enact their intent
Coordinates across technical and organizational boundaries
Establishes and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values
Regularly employs ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve functional objectives.
Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members to convey new practices and approaches
Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of functions strategy and operations.
Mandatory Skills:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5 years of experience as a Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise.
Experience querying data from Splunk and Elk.
Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required. Provide special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information and recommends changes to management.
Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools.
Provides analytical support of actual results against budget and feasibility of proposed business strategies.
Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making.
Provides analysis prior to and following any recommended changes.
Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Desired Skills:
Experience with the Sponsor’s entitlement management programs.
Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity.
Experience with the Sponsor and the Sponsor’s mission.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
