Job Description:

The Leidos Civil Group is seeking a mid-level Data Visualization Developer to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team supporting the Washington DC office. The position will provide support to Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Management Services Business, Financial Services Directorate, Material Management and Procurement Group, Property Team, (AJG-R24).  This group is responsible for ensuring ATO employees have the resources they need to effectively perform their work by providing the following service: equipment and property management/inventory; telecommunications; space management; contracts; travel; supply management, and ad hoc miscellaneous logistical areas in support of the ATO AJG business services function.   

Position expected to be onsite at FAA in Washington DC one day a week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The Financial Services Directorate requires a data visualizer to support the director level and all three groups: 
  • Development and coordination of Data Visualization including but not limited to: 
  • Development of briefing packages, graphs, charts, presentation materials, and other documents to support the directorate and groups 
  • Identify and recommend best methods to display information for all levels of the organization from ATO Leadership (COO/DCOO/VP/DVP) to program level managers and analyst 
  • Utilize the correct application and format to achieve goals and objectives such as Excel (Scatter Diagrams, Trend Analysis, Bar and Line graphs, Area and pie charts, etc.), Power Apps, Tableau, Visio, etc. 
  • Develop various views utilizing Tableau to meet internal needs and our customers 
  • Ensure integrity of data sources is validated  
  • Coordinate all efforts with the appropriate subject matter experts, Budget Analysis, AJG-R35, and the Data Science Analytics Team (DSAT) 
  • Coordinate and provide status updates of all efforts with AJG-R Leadership team to ensure projects are aligned with priorities  
  • Facilitate deployment of visualization on Website, SharePoint as required and coordinate updates with appropriate system administrators. 
  • Additional Responsibilities and Performance Criteria 
  •  Preparation of briefing packages, brochures, handouts, and other materials in various mediums 
  • Complete assignments accurately, thoroughly, and within established timelines 
  • Plan and use assigned resources appropriately to accomplish tasks; must be able to work on many different projects at one time 
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in varying formats, such as text, graph, and pictures 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to communicate verbally in writing to achieve required outcomes.

  • Ability to coordinate across various levels of the organization 

    Utilize various sources to gather data on related topics in order to develop appropriate products to be used 

  • Participate in projects from the planning stage, provides additional or missing materials, and edits, organizes, and formats contents for clarity, flow, and integrity 

Basic Qualifications

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $89,000.00 - $120,150.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
