Leidos has an immediate career opening for a Computer Programmer in support of the 526th Intelligence Squadron (526 IS) at Nellis AFB, NV. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance.
Position is responsible for working with the 526 IS Modeling and Simulation Team to flesh out technical and QA requirements
Collaborates with customer’s technical leads and intelligence analyst regarding requirement elicitation, and documentation and acceptance criteria in fast-paced agile environment
Continuously monitor, identify risks and mitigate risks
Quickly adapt to customer dynamic environment and adopt their processes and foster innovative ideas
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters
Adhere to Agile processes and software engineering best practices
Build software solutions where the solution is not always well defined but always considers the customer first
Troubleshoot software errors and technical issues in development, QA, and production environments
Produce relevant architectural and technical artifacts
Manage projects as required by customer
TS/SCI security clearance.
BS degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Experience/proficient with JavasScript, C#, Python, .Net, SQL Server, Powershell Scripting, and other Microsoft development tools
Proficiency with web application technologies
Experience delivering an entire piece of a system or application
Deep understanding of software design patterns
Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
Familiarity with network protocols required (TCP/IP, UDP, DIS, etc.)
Familiarity with Modeling and Simulation
Previous working experience with the Air Force Intelligence Community (AFIC)
Working experience with geographic information systems (GIS) such as ArcGIS, RemoteView, Google Map, MACE, ASSET and any geospatial database related software
Experience in writing database stored procedures
Working knowledge of reporting tools
Experience working in agile Scrum environment
Experience working with Web Content Management System (WCSM)
Knowledge of SecDevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practice and tools
Pay Range:Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00
