Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Graphics Designer to provide elevated customer delivered briefings and graphics support for a customer focused business analytics for their production efforts. This entails taking initial graphics produced via Tableau, Excel, or PowerPoint and upgrading them to match the customer’s style guide, conforming to best practices for design and color, and incorporating customer branding. This is a mix of short turnaround requests for embedded graphics for written products, posters, and standalone graphics in support of events, and consultations with customer teams on branding, web design, and dashboard development.

The successful candidate should be a graphic designer who is creative and independent and can manage many tasks at the same time. Has experience with building and designing elaborate briefs for senior leadership, depicting data and status graphically.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced graphic designs for customer briefings, using Microsoft Office Products.

  • Ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience

  • Create graphic designs for variety of written and digital products

  • Assist in developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other team members to develop creative and informative graphics to support customer written products and analyses.

  • Provide design services, including website graphics, social media graphics, HTML newsletter graphics

  • Ensure products conform to all production standards, copy write laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances

  • Plan, design, and perform content enhancement and/or updates to SharePoint websites.

  • Conduct technical quality checks

  • Adhere to customer security policies and procedures regarding the use of systems, equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s with 2 years or High School diploma with 6 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products, graphic design, computer graphics, animation, fine arts, or related field.

  • Experience designing/building templates for senior leadership briefings using Microsoft Office Products

  • Experience generating cohesive, desirable design, based on holistic consideration of the intended message

  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DIA organization, products, and style guide.

  • Experience with designing graphics in support of business analytics.

Security Clearance:

  • Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.

  • TS/SCI with a Poly is required for this position or TS/SCI and willingness to get a Poly.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Covid Guidance for the US
