Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Strategic Communications Manager to serve as a Program Manager of a complex communications contract with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). This position will be responsible for providing strategic communications direction to multiple DOJ offices, with the goal of maximizing the impact of agency communications to justice stakeholders. The Strategic Communications Manager will oversee the work activities of various communications functions, such as content development and production, multimedia services, design and graphics, marketing, and conferencing.
Responsibilities include:
Serving as Program Manager and overseeing program operations.
Meeting performance, financial, and contractual requirements.
Maintaining strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
Managing a large team of communications professionals to support the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies for multiple customers.
Working closely with the leadership team and staff to recognize opportunities and drive solutions for our customers.
Leading development and execution of strategic communications plans that align with the customers’ mission, goals, and priorities.
Establishing digital and social communications best practices.
Promoting a culture of high performance that values learning, collaboration, and a commitment to quality.
Mentoring and supervising staff, supporting staff development, and fostering an environment of collaboration and inclusion.
Identifying opportunities for program growth and new business.

Please Note: This is a full-time remote position, but the candidate must be able to attend occasional meetings in person in Washington, D.C. and/or Gaithersburg, MD. Preferred, one to be in DC Area.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, OR related field.
At least a minimum of 8 years supervisory OR program management experience.
Demonstrated results leading strategic communications initiatives.
Account OR customer management.
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Desired Skills:
PMP Certification.
U.S. Government experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
