Job Description:

The Leidos Defense Group is seeking a Project Manager for a position on the AFNCR (Air Force National Capitol Region) IT Services program located primarily at Joint Base Andrews with on site visits to the Pentagon as needed.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle AFNCR IT Service procurement of goods and service. 

  • Manage each part of the supply chain to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services while identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity.

  • Lead and manage project planning, resourcing, supply, progress reporting, trouble-shooting and project team management.

  • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.

  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.

  • Strong knowledge on supply change practices into all initiatives of Procurement process.

  • Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management.

  • Participates in budget development and evaluating how project plan changes impact cost and schedule.

  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close projects for government customers within the Defense Group.

  • Update project status in Remedy.

  • Hold and document stakeholder meetings.

  • Update customers on project status.

  • Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials. 

  • Develop and manage relationships with Leidos procurement team, supplier, and stakeholders.

  • Responsible for supply chain functions, such as material procurement, production planning, inventory. 

  • Duties may include coordinating and integrating the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Master degree with less than 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Procurement based Project Management and or Project Coordination experience. 

  • Working knowledge of Remedy and Microsoft Project.

  • Currently possess a DoD TS/SCI clearance.

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office knowledge and skills. 

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Good organization and communication skills.


 

Pay Range:

Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
