The Leidos DES (Defense Enclave Services) team is supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.
Leidos currently has an opening for a Change Control Lead, located at Ft. Meade, MD.
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ common use information technology systems, personnel, functions and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. This position be responsible for the overall change control process. There will be excellent exposure to the customer, engineering, and operational processes as you communicate across interfacing organizations. Your ideas, suggestions and concerns will be welcomed, especially to streamline processes and strengthen performance and practices.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret clearance.(US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for managing internal change control processes (i.e., Engineering Change Request, Contract change Disposition Board, etc.)
•Manages the assessment, approval, implementation, and review of changes in a controlled manner to enable beneficial changes, with reduced risk and minimal disruption to IT services.
•Responsible for the change control process, to include overseeing each step and approval, working with customer counter-part, attending customer meetings, and ensuring compliance of team for all changes to the IT infrastructure and processes.
•Prepare Request for Change (RFC) packages IAW change management TTPs and ensure that RFCs are submitted, compliant, vetted, and approved for an ASI and visible through the portal repository.
•Coordinate the approval of necessary approved software list and approved hardware list updates before RFC submittal.
•Manage the change process for various change types to include Standard, Normal, and Emergency changes, approval cycles, and Responsibility, Accountability, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) charts.
•Conduct post-implementation of change review before closing change.
•Multitask and manage competing priorities.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives, engaging SMEs when needed, to drive work to closure on-time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•Knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of change control management.
•Effective communicator, able to capture action items and status clearly and concisely.
•Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•DISA experience.
•Experience developing change control processes.
•ServiceNow Experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
