Leidos is seeking a qualified IT NetOps Lead to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support data system services and operations and digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies at Fort Meade, MD.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The DES program supports a highly demanding mission and requires support to provide expert technical and professional management support to DISA enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. You will be working in support of a large and complex IT consolidation, migration, and modernization effort towards a Single Service Provider model that provides sustainment, maintenance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the Department of Defense networks and services.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Oversee the day-to-day operational services provided in support of the Defense Enclave Services (DES) and its customers.
•Oversee the management and supervision of a minimum of ~30 personnel.
•Monitoring and supervising the activities involved with the daily support of services to all DES computing assets to include: Network Control Center, Problem Management, Video and VoIP support, VIP support, and the Joint Operations Center.
•Interface between the customer and DISA leadership and provide input into the management activities.
•Manage task order personnel and assignments, manage schedules and projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs, hiring qualified staff members, coordinating operational activities with external and internal teammates or government groups, handling personnel issues as needed, and coordination with appropriate government representatives.
•Exercise broadly delegated authority to assigned staff and supporting team in planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects.
•Organize and implement the process of evaluating performance against established policies and procedures.
•Ensure that personnel receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and preparing project status reports as required.
•Must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a professional business-like manner.
•Work in a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts.
•Interface with both internal and external executive leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
•8+ years’ experience in management of projects/tasks similar in scope and requirements to current program.
•Thorough understanding of the assessment, preparation, and implementation of environments and change control activities for complex tasks.
•Ability to work with others to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes
•Excellent briefing, writing, and communication skills.
•Detail oriented and organized.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
•IAT II certification.
•Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
•Applicable IT certification (CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, etc.)
•DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework.
•Possess an in-depth knowledge of DoD Enterprise IT policies and procedures.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
