The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Cyber and Information Assurance Specialist to work at the customer site at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, HI. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the PACAF C5ISRO II mission. In this mission, we provide IT support to our PACAF customers throughout the Pacific Theater.
Develop information systems security studies and reports that address areas of information system security concerns. Ensure IA requirements are incorporated in system development activities. Provide consultant services in all areas of information system security, including physical, administrative, personnel, computer, operations, and industrial security.
Create, edit, and review security accreditation and authorization (A&A – formally called certification and accreditation, C&A) packages for the PA-ESC. These C&A tasks shall include required documentation for each connected site, Regional Transport Node (RTN), and any Regional Core Service extensions to the enterprise.
Assist and advise the Enterprise Connection Approval Program Manager in all manners related to AF JWICS DIA compliance concerns. Draft and maintain interconnection security agreements between the AF and DIA. Liaison between AF stakeholders and DIA regarding connection compliance. Provide oversight to ensure requirements follow the DIA guidelines throughout the connection approval process.
Input data into the appropriate A&A tool. The current toolset used is XACTA. Review logical network drawings, configurations, and control parameters to ensure they are current. Review documentation required to certify new hardware and software systems for deployment.
Review PA-ESC change proposals for security, interoperability, accreditation, and authorization issues or vulnerabilities. Notify Government PA-ESC Government Leads of all issues. Prepare for and conduct customer briefings, attend and provide minutes on Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), and provide status reports on cybersecurity activities. Develop information systems security studies and reports that address areas of information system security concerns. Ensure cybersecurity requirements are incorporated in system development and sustainment activities. Provide consultant services in all areas of information system security, including physical, administrative, personnel, computer, operations, and industrial security. Provide security documentation and reports within specified timeframes.
Monitor and report, IAW IC Directives and AF JWICS policy, the status of security measures established by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and related authorizing officials that protect and defend information and information systems, web-based services, remotely hosted applications, discovery, storage, operating systems, public key infrastructure (PKI), and other information technology components and applications for the Enterprise.
Maintain cybersecurity, system security, and sustainment programs. The Contractor shall follow all applicable ICD and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance in performing day-to-day duties. Create, edit, and review security accreditation and authorization (A&A – formally called certification and accreditation, C&A) packages for the PA-ESC. Input data into the appropriate A&A tool. The current toolset used is XACTA. Review logical network drawings, configurations, and control parameters to ensure they are current. Review documentation required to certify new hardware and software systems for deployment.
Monitor and administer the vulnerability and compliance scan tool (currently ACAS). The Contractor shall remain current on required training if another vulnerability and compliance scan system is integrated as part of Enterprise security measures. Review AF JWICS change proposals for security, interoperability, accreditation, and authorization issues or vulnerabilities. Notify the Government lead of all issues. Perform vulnerability and compliance assessments. Conduct security tests and evaluations. Monitor and review Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Bulletins (IAVB). Track and provide results to appropriate Government entities for review IAW standard operating procedures. Monitor and report mandated Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) statistics for the AF JWICS. Provide quarterly reports to the appropriate Government entity in accordance with IC Directives and AF JWICS policy.
This individual must have an expert understanding of the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages; have excellent written and oral communication and have at least a Bachelor’s degree in IT Systems (or similar field), 10 years experience in C4ISR/IT/IA and have current CISSP certification (or similar IA senior level accredited certification).
Knowledge of the intelligence community, the US Air Force, and the Pacific Theater.

Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
