The Leidos DES (Defense Enclave Services) team is supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies and Leidos is seeking System Center Configuration Managers (SCCM) to work at Ft. Meade, MD.
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ common use information technology systems, personnel, functions and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Troubleshoots and resolves complex infrastructure hardware and software problems for multi- user computer platforms.
•Installs and maintains infrastructure hardware and software.
•Develops and implements standard practices for support and maintenance activities.
•Guides less experienced personnel in problem resolution activities and resolves more complex technology issues.
•Guides performance monitoring, tuning, availability, and capacity planning of multi-user computer platforms.
•Guides strategy, engineering, design, and project management of multi-user computer platforms.
•Develops and maintains diagrams documenting systems.
•Guides in technology evaluation and selection processes, ensuring compatibility between client requirements and technical performance as well as documents analysis and recommendations.
•Guides and addresses vendor and product issues to support the business.
•Develops and maintains relationships with clients, peers, vendors and management.
•Works in conjunction with IT Security to ensure that company security is not compromised.
•Participates in development of satisfactory backup and restore practices as well as disaster recovery planning and testing.
•Guides in establishing processes and procedures that improve efficiency and support compliance with federal and regulatory requirements.
•Possesses a detailed knowledge of various technologies and demonstrates the ability to leverage and appropriately integrate those technologies within the current environment.
•Balances technology integration alternatives and recommends action with consideration to both technical efficiency and effectiveness.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
•Experience with PowerShell scripting.
•Solid background with SQL queries.
•A consultative/advisory mindset with the ability to design.
•Experience in troubleshooting application issues in virtualized environment.
•Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Request Management.
•Collaboration with the team in implementing new technology initiatives, standards major changes or upgrades to production environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Masters Degree.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
