Leidos is seeking an experienced Change Management, Training & Communications Lead
to work as part of a large customer-facing project team supporting the Dept. of Veterans Affairs transition to a new HR management system. The Change Management, Training & Communications Lead will be responsible for devising and deploying an extensive change management program and a well-coordinated training and communications campaign to support the users’ adoption of the new system and processes (HR processes and self-service processes). The successful candidate will be an agent for change, possess high energy, have a passion for quality, and be self-motivated.
This position requires the ability to obtain a National Agency Clearance and Inquiries (NACI) clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the Change Management team and the Training & Communication Team in preparing the customer organization for the transition to and adoption of the new HR management system and related processes.
- Supervise and contribute to the development of the change management framework aligned to the contract scope, to include addressing organizational behavior changes, preparing employees for system and process changes, transitioning employees from current to future state, providing change leadership with coaching activities, and documenting identified change impacts.
- Supervise and contribute to the development of the Change Management Strategy and the Change Management Plan, which will also draw on the project’s communication plan, training plan and user adoption plan.
- Ensure that the activities outlined in the Integrated Change Management Plan are adequately represented in the project schedule.
- Collaborate with the customer’s change management SMEs and Project Managers to measure the effectiveness of the user adoption activities and make real-time improvements.
- Supervise and contribute to the development of the Training Plan detailing the approach to develop and deliver role-based training to VA.
- Develop a comprehensive Communications Strategy and Plan that aligns to the Change Management Plan and with the Training Plan. \
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience supervising or leading change management, training and communication teams in support of large federal customers.
- Experience using industry-recognized change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI) to facilitate change in large organization.
- Exceptional ability to lead, communicate, and inspire people to adapt to change.
- Results oriented and not afraid to take initiative, organized, innovative, resourceful, high-level integrity and ethics and sense of urgency to deliver quality services
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project) and in training development and delivery tools
- BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
List additional skills and experience that is “nice to have” but not required.
- Certifications: Prosci Change Management Methodology (ADKAR) or similar credentialed change management methodology
- Veterans Affairs experience
- Experience with Agile principles in software development environments

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
