Leidos is seeking a seasoned Knowledge Manager with MS SharePoint experience to work as part of a large customer-facing project team supporting the Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a National Agency Clearance and Inquiries (NACI) clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the Leidos SharePoint site for the program
- Organize and maintain the Veterans Affairs (VA) SharePoint site for the program
- Guide the project team in the correct usage of the SharePoint sites
- Define naming conventions and version control procedures, train the project team in using them, and enforce compliance to the procedures
- Identify the appropriate VA writing/style guidelines and train the team in using them
- Provide assistance to the team with SharePoint questions or issues
- Support the knowledge transfer activities and the information collection/business analysis activities performed by the team by advising the team on how to best categorize, organize and save the information collected
- Create lists, questionnaires and workflows in SharePoint (e.g., workflows to collect approvals for project deliverables)
- Provide support for document retrieval and assistance in locating specific information and documents, by serving as the librarian for the project team
- Provide assistance to the QA Manager in organizing the QA review folders for the contractual document deliverables
- Manage a small team of Technical Writers to provide writing support to the project team, for documentation such as user guides, release notes, SOPs, project newsletters, presentations, meeting minutes, status reports. Perform spot-checking on the quality of their writing and manage performance within the team.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in document management, library organization, document storage and retrieval, naming conventions, and version control
- 6+ years of experience configuring SharePoint sites, libraries and folders, groups and permissions, and using advanced SharePoint features such as questionnaires and workflows
- Customer-facing experience
- Team management experience
- Results oriented and not afraid to take initiative, organized, innovative, resourceful, high-level integrity and ethics and sense of urgency to deliver quality services
- BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
