We are in search of a Software Developer to join our CIO BOSS Enterprise applications team in a teleworking environment. As a core member of the BOSS team, you will work on a team supporting the design and development of custom .NET web applications for internal business functions. We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in designing and developing object oriented, C# based ASP.NET web applications (Web forms and ASP.NET MVC 4+) that interact with a SQL Server 2016 backend database. This candidate must have experience designing and implementing custom SQL Server 2016 database schemas and in developing related schema objects (stored procedures, user defined functions, etc.). The candidate must possess excellent T-SQL programming skills and have a good understanding of how to tune databases and queries in support of performance optimization. Experience with other modern client-side web development frameworks, such as Angular, Kendo UI, etc., is a plus. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with other team members, system sponsors, management, etc. and writing skills to support drafting required system documentation.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Work within a team environment, in order to develop Custom Web applications.
- Understanding back end business processes and functions to provide custom software solutions for established business processes.
- SQL Server Database 2016+ design and development.
- Performance tuning web applications and SQL database.
- Utilize the latest modern client-side development frameworks, such as Angular, Telerik/Kendo UI etc…
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Test teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop within an Agile software environment, and be able to work from defined requirements specifications.
- Provide Tier 2 level application/customer support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of experience of Full Stack .Net/MVC and SQL Development. Additional years of relevant experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
- ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC application Development experience.
- Prior experience with SQL Server Database Design/T-SQL programming, Web User Interface Design, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Entity Framework.
- Angular, Blazor or other client side development frameworks.
- Agile development methodologies.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
