As a member of the Development and Engineering team, the candidate will perform the following tasks:
Ensures high quality data is available for use by other team members.
This role designs, implements, and maintains standard data interfaces for data ingest including Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) methodology and implementation, APIs, RESTful Web Services, data quality, and data cleansing.
This role collaborates across a team of Data Scientist, Developers, Engineers, and Administrators to produce work products.
Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse sources including "big data" sources.
Works with cross-discipline teams to ensure connectivity between various data sources and business problems.
Identifies meaningful insights and interprets and communicates findings and recommendations.
Leads a team of developers and business analysts to develop information and/or workflow management tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to monitor and improve business performance.
Maintains awareness of emerging analytics and big-data technologies.
Senior-level systems engineering support.
Leader of a technical and business team to produce the highest quality product.
Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems.
Directs overall system level testing.
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years related experience, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Experience planning and leading major technology assignments.
Experience evaluating performance results and recommending major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Experience as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Experience supervising others.
Experience working with Agile software development methodology
Experience working in the NASA environment
Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
