Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Web Developer supporting the Air Force Cryptologic Office’s Force Management Division (AFCO-CF) at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland AFB, TX which is part of a larger program supporting 16th Air Force and Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for servers in AFCO-CFE and will manage the design, development, and implementation of IT projects through the systems development life cycle (SDLC). They will deliver excellent customer support, helpdesk/admin support for LMS, WHM & cPanel WordPress, and AWS; build, operate, secure, and support environments; and migrate web services from AWS Lightsail to EC2 when necessary. The Senior Web Developer responsibilities will also include:
Migrating applications current & future to Platforms
Developing scalable WordPress sites from start to finish
Writing, updating, and providing admin documentation for Authorization to Operate
Deploying, automating, supporting, securing, and troubleshooting servers & services
Installing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware and software
Website creations, lifecycle management, data cloud storage, and overall system management
Administration and operation of the software to support eLearning websites, data exchanges, content publication, website usage, and overall cloud storage requirements.
All other server duties as assigned under AFCO-CFE
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BS and 8-12 years' experience in web development, website front-end and back-end technologies. Additional years of experience will be considered in place of a degree.
Experience with Linux-based servers in Cloud Environment
MySQL knowledge and experience (Selects, Joins, etc.)
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect -Associate Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
4+ years of production HTML5 and CSS3 experience and deep understanding of the benefits of CSS Methodologies (BEM, RSCSS, etc.)
3+ years of production WordPress website development experience
3+ years of production PHP back-end development experience
Command Line/Bash proficiency, proficiency with source control tools (Git, Perforce, etc.), and CSS pre-processing (SASS and LESS) proficiency
Experience as a Hosting Support Specialist or similar role
Experience with DNS and CDNs
Previous work within ACC/ISR or AFCO

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
