The Leidos DES (Defense Enclave Services) team is supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies and currently has an opening for an experienced Hardware Specialist at Ft. Meade, MD.
The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ common use information technology systems, personnel, functions and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. Your role is critical to the overall operational and end User Experience (UX) as automation capabilities impacts each user across the global enterprise.
•Must hold an active Secret clearance prior to start. (US Citizenship required)
•Provides third-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware.
•Handles problems that the first and second tier of help desk support is unable to resolve.
•May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
•Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
•Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
•Maintains currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise.
•Escalates more complex problems to Senior Level.
•High School diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience.
•HDI, or Windows 10 MCTS certification.
•DoD IAT Level II certification (Sec+) is required before start
•Technical writing experience.
•Innovative, team-oriented problem solver.
•Strong commitment to providing quality service.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
•Excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills.

Pay Range:Pay Range $42,250.00 - $65,000.00 - $87,750.00
