This is an opportunity to participate as a subcontract team member to the ISYS Corporation on an IT Service Management Support program. The government program is the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Event Planning Operations and Support (EPOS). Multiple positions are available at the prime contractor’s location in Denver, Colorado. The program requires team members with IT support, software development, and ITIL configuration and deployment management skills as described below. Candidates are required to have an active Secret or above security clearance. ITIL training and experience is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
IT Configuration and Change Manager - The Change and Configuration Manager (CCM) is responsible for supporting the plan and execution of audits of configuration data and validating the enterprise configuration management items, and database and system accuracy. The CCM is responsible for assessing and analyzing requests for verification and audits. The CCM consults regularly with key Government and project stakeholders to ensure process, procedure and version continuity across multiple locations. The CCM supports configuration verifications, audits and reporting.
IT Release and Deployment Manager - This position supports the delivery of IT service management (ITSM) activities across multiple site locations in support of a large, DoD program. The RDM Manager is responsible for: scheduling baseline and emergency releases, managing deployment to sites, providing training documentation for baseline deployments, establish back-out criteria for the ITSM deployment
Training Coordinator – This position is responsible for: developing training materials within the scope of configuration management such as process guides and use of ITSM-related processes, managing training events at multiple sites, preparing on-line training materials.
JIRA Administrator – The JIRA Administrator is responsible for creating and organizing new projects on the JIRA platform, as well as configuring the layout, design, workflow, and dashboard. The JIRA Administrator designs, manages, and maintains databases, evaluates configuration and access, resolves database performance/capacity issues and performs database recovery and back-up.
Senior Technical Writer - support the development, revision, version control and publication of Enterprise IT service management (ITSM)-related documentation. The Technical Writer is the primary POC on the project Team for: re-write or editing of technical documents, monitoring documentation updates and coordinating with documentation configuration control, support development of charters, support all teams on documentation development and maintenance, create and maintain document templates
Basic Qualifications
Current Government Secret Clearance or higher
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
5 to 12 years experience in the topic field of the position
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of ITIL Foundations certificate is preferred
ITIL Service Management certificates are a plus
Clearance Required:
Requires an active DoD Secret Clearance
