The Enterprise and Cyber Solutions (E&CS) Operation within Leidos’ Defense Group has an opening for an Data Driven Operations Lead for the GIG Service Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract.    This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).    It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA’s operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA’s mission partners.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate primary responsibility will be:

  • In coordination with the Special Projects Chief Architect, and the GSMO CTO, identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities resulting in increased contract growth, improved customer satisfaction, and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong ServiceNow technical breadth and depth in support of the DoD and in particular in government network design, implementation, operations, and modernization.
  • Ability to re-engineer existing processes to build ServiceNow workflows to rebuild the Order Management processes using ServiceNow’s Telecommunications Service Operations Management and Telecommunications Service Management modules
  • Lead a team of engineers in developing and delivering DDO solutions in a range of technology areas, integrated data architecture, common data platform and DISN Performance Baseline Learning & Analytics.
  • Building the next level of design and implementation plans for the GSM-O innovations Roadmap.
  • Designing, engineering and coordinating migration of these innovations into the AWS IL5 and IL6 Cloud.
  • Develop and provide briefings to senior leaders, program managers, and internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12+ years of professional experience; or 10+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
  • Ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret security clearance prior to start date or holds an active Secret level or higher security clearance.
  • Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified
  • Experience in architecture, design, develop, and delivery of SNOW capabilities, within a DoD environment.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing integrated architectures, technical leadership, and the ability to present difficult concepts to customers, and executives.
  • Deep industry awareness in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, TSM, and TSOM modules principles, and ability to identify and apply new use cases/opportunities for leveraging ServiceNow for improved network efficiencies
  • Improving, and expand upon existing ITSM and Order Management techniques currently in use.
  • AWS (cloud) knowledge/expertise
  • Developing, training, and deploying integrated data architecture models.
  • Experience interfacing with the appropriate Government organizations for support, regarding innovations and communications requirements
  • Must be able to interact effectively with developers, system stakeholders, and the Customer
  • Self-starter that has experience in supporting COTS integration and development efforts
  • Experience with ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IBM NOI, Predicative Insights Tool Suites, Elastic Stack (ELK), and CAPM
  • Experience with various Element management systems
  • Agile Methods

Pay Range:

Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
