The chosen candidate will be responsible for administrative and logistical duties related to meetings as well as event planning for a federal government contract. Additional duties include technical support for webinars according to event objectives and requirements. Employment is dependent on the ability to secure a Public Trust Security Clearance. This is a telecommuting/remote opportunity at 30 hours per week, with the ability to work more as required during surge periods or while on travel. While a fully remote position, generally must be available Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. ET.
Coordinate logistics for staffed and unstaffed conferences including working with sponsors/vendors for event registration, shipment of equipment and collateral material, working with expo vendors, and other services as required.
Manage and reconcile conference expenses.
Prepare event summaries to include event logistics for exhibitors at events.
Maintain a calendar of events, researching new events that align with customer priorities and using the calendar as a foundation to plan/execute supported events.
Identify marketing opportunities at events in lieu or in combination with onsite exhibition.
Exhibit at conferences on behalf of customer during surge periods. Disseminate materials, conduct demonstrations and presentations, engage with attendees, identify new outreach and marketing opportunities to grow the customer base, and draft post-event memorandums.
Capture lessons learned, best practices, and draft procedures as needed.
Provide technical support for webinars, including managing registration, uploading presentations, providing live technical assistance, recording events, and preparing data reports.
Gather and analyze metrics on webinars.
Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of directly relevant work experience.
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word and Excel and remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Webex.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously.
Skilled in communicating with customers, being professional, and solution-oriented.
Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic).
Ability to lift up to 25lbs at events, as needed.
Experience coordinating conferences.
Experience facilitating virtual meetings.
Knowledge of vendor purchasing and expense reporting functions
Experience preparing data summaries.
Pay Range:Pay Range $46,150.00 - $71,000.00 - $95,850.00
