The Leidos Civil Group currently has an opening for a Program Finance Analyst, Senior supporting various programs in the Civil EMS Civil IT Division. The location for this position will be Gaithersburg, MD. We are looking for a strong program financial analyst who has excellent communication skills and can support all aspects of financial control including: planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting. This position serves as liaison between the project management teams, finance and line management. The position will review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, prepare status reports as well as develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers and customers.
The position will have measurable impact on the program’s operational accomplishments. This position will be an independent problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions. Excellent communication skills both internally and externally are essential to the success of this position as we work with all functional peers along with the project teams – both internal Leidos and the customer project teams.
The roles and responsibilities of this position include and are not limited to:
- Ability to thoroughly review EACs for accuracy and compliance
- Continuous monitoring of contract actuals and profitability
- Month-end analysis of plan vs actuals with an understanding of variance drivers
- Monthly invoice and customer deliverables review, approval, and backup preparation where required
- A/R tracking and resolution
- Quarterly Financial Status Review (QFSR) preparation
- Continuous Forecast preparation
- Ad Hoc Reporting for assigned contracts
- Regular communication with Management team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience; or 4+ years of prior relevant experience with a related Master’s degree.
- Knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, T&M, Cost Plus, Hybrid contracts
- Has the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs and portfolios supporting.
- Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, Power Point and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence and Costpoint
- Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as: Costpoint, Oracle Business Intelligence, Cognos, Fusion, and LPAS
- Experience with Pricing and Proposals
Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $111,000.00 - $149,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
