Leidos currently has an opening for a Configuration Manager to work in our Beavercreek, OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to support fielding new systems and products in support of various emerging US Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) programs related to the AgilePod family of systems.

In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively with Leidos engineering, logistics, and programmatic teammates as well as direct contact with customer CM team to establish, tailor, and enforce Configuration Management processes for existing and emerging projects and programs to help ensure the successful AgilePod® design and prototype delivery leading to full production-level deployment. A successful candidate will work closely with the teams to identify process improvements to streamline the production deployment process and maximize efficiencies meanwhile achieving the required milestones and deliverables.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Develop design and establishes configuration management planning documentation and procedures.
Provide subject matter advice and guidance on CM best practice methods, standards, and requirements to individuals responsible for prototype development
Monitor and manage corrective action plans
Implement process improvement responses
Perform Change Control
Conduct Configuration Audits
Upload contract required deliverables
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience designing and managing a CMDB
Experience in managing development and delivery of multiple overlapping design reviews
Experience managing hardware and software configuration baselines
Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management
Strong oral and written communications skills
Experience establishing goals and plans that meet program objectives
Track record of working effectively within a team, and support to peers toward improved processes and results
Must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications, not required
Experience implementing a CM program to control all aspects of CM
Experience with EIA-649 and EIA-649-1 processes
Experience with prototype design reviews leading to a production level readiness
Experience with contract required deliveries utilizing MEARS
Experience working in an AGILE environment
Pay Range:Pay Range $52,650.00 - $81,000.00 - $109,350.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
