The Defense Group at Leidos has a career opening for a highly capable and experienced Scrum Master to work alongside the Program Manager for our Government client. The Scrum Master will support a multi-functional team and to manage the scheduling of project delivery, change and new business.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Serve as scrum master for task Requirements and Development teams taking on the consolidation of multiple real property management systems into a new single system.
Perform systems and requirements analysis for Army real property systems including geospatial capabilities.
Responsible for the delivery of high-level designs, specifications, requirements traceability and working with all engineering disciplines in both definition and delivery of system wide changes.
Interface with requirements and developer teams to identify required activities, perform collaborative planning, review deliverables, and resolve SE issues.
Coordinate with customer/stakeholders to prioritize product backlogs for sprints and releases.
Apply strong baseline, configuration, and release management to products and documentation.
Participate in developing and presenting ideas and system improvements to team and customer as needed.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Experience conducting technical sessions involving customer and other stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years working in the engineering field with experience as a Data Scientist.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills, with the ability to lead and manage the effort of others when necessary.
At least 5 years’ experience with Agile and lean processes and techniques, including 2 years of scrum leadership.
Experience executing agile and DevSecOps processes; has used agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git to manage work and collaborate with other teams.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Stack technologies such as: Azure, Power BI, Access, SQL, PostgreSQL, Visual Studio.
Knowledge of ArcGIS or other geospatial software.
Security Clearance Requirement
An active DoD Secret clearance to start
Preferred Qualifications, not required.
Experience with Leidos EngineeringEDGE NextGen
Familiarity with Army Real Property concepts and Real Property Information Model, or other DoD property management systems.
Experience with implementing solutions within cArmy or other DoD cloud environments.
Pay Range:Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
