Job Description:

Leidos currently has an opening for an experienced Sr. Contracts Manager in our Arlington, VA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills & experience supporting the Leidos Innovation Center (LInC) operations within the Dynetics Group. The selected candidate will report to the LInC Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of contracts and customers.

Active TS/SCI is required.  Prior experience working in a classified environment is required.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide the oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitoring major contracts, recommending and implementing new solutions to achieve functional objectives, be a critical asset in key negotiations, ability to resolve multi-faceted and complex contractual/customer issues as they arise, resolve performance issues, identify risks & propose mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with Leidos policies, and developing & maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.  Must be a consummate team player, routinely interacting with programs, contracts, procurement, finance, project control, legal and export control team members.  Proactively engage with Government contracting counterparts in order to be responsive to customer requirements.  

Lead the review and analysis of Request for Proposals (RFPs) in order to identify and mitigate contract risks.  Review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and OCI Mitigation Plans. 

Basic Qualifications

BA degree + 12 or more years of relevant experience; or Masters degree + 10 or more years of relevant experience.

Must possess active TS/SCI. Strong knowledge of IC Acquisitions and Regulations required.

Expert knowledge of industry practices. Serve as a subject matter expert on contractual/business matters across Leidos.  Must have experience with all contract types and a working knowledge of the FAR.

This position is based in Arlington, Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Operations Management and Procurement/Subcontracts preferred, though not required.

Good communication skills and proficient in developing written correspondence.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
