Job Description:
Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) is a US Government program responsible for addressing escalating risk of intentional and unintentional supply chain compromise.
The organization is responsible for developing programmatic processes to collect intelligence information, performing intelligence research using analytical workflow and qualitative and quantitative risk analysis methods to evaluate and disseminate C-SCRM risk intelligence.
DHS OCIO has an opening for a Junior Information Security Analyst.
Basic Duties for this position include:
support the DHS Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) and C-SCRM efforts at DHS by supporting information security efforts
ensure compliance to relevant information security standards in accordance with Government Directives and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all intelligence, C-SCRM, and other cleared and non-cleared data sources
assist in the response to information security audits, and maintain a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for any non-compliant issues
promote cybersecurity awareness.
ensure proper handling of all classified information
perform and suggest improvements to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility operations activities and governing policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Must hold an active in scope Top Secret clearance prior to start. (US Citizenship required)
Bachelors and 2 years of experience. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Must hold current DOD 8570 IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) prior to start.
Fundamental understanding of supplier quality management processes and US Government audits
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities as needed
Strong attention to details is required
Pay Range:
Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
