Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Outreach Support Specialist to support our customer’s requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in McLean, VA. The Outreach Support Specialist will assist Program Mission Managers (PMMs) in their mission to support and engage state, local, tribal, territorial, military, and other non-USG partners. The Specialist will conduct knowledge management activities and assist with administrative activities such as coordination and planning to meet deadlines. The Specialist will research, analyze, and downgrade finished CT intelligence products to be shared with partners. The Specialist will review draft intelligence products and provide input that addresses the specific needs of partners. The Specialist will prepare and package information for Program Mission Managers. The Specialist will assist the customer with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of working relationships with partner agencies and entities. The Specialist will also support Exercise Planners with similar knowledge management and administrative activities as needed.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills are required to deliver presentations and brief senior-level leadership
Experience analyzing events of national intelligence interest
Ability to read and process all-source intelligence reports and implement directives, as presented daily
Ability to digest and understand reporting to identify information that is of interest, but not available, to state, local, tribal, territorial, military, and other non-USG partners, and request tear-lines, downgrades, and dissemination of this information based upon customer guidelines and direction
Experience triaging large amounts of data
Experience coordinating with multiple IC partners
Familiarity with key US foreign policy and national security Counterterrorism (CT) objectives
Strong attention to detail and previous writing experience supporting an IC customer
Experience coordinating and interacting with multiple government partners
Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
Experience assisting in full-scale and tabletop exercises is preferred
Experience working in law enforcement is preferred
BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a BA degree
TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required
Pay Range:
Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
