Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintain electronic contact with Government scheduling personnel to ensure rapid response to changing ship and program schedules and requirements.
Manage, track and update material shortage status and make weekly reports
Provide reviews of design documents, drawings, schematics, and engineering changes
Provide Subject Matter Expert guidance to In-Service Engineering Agent with regards to changes to drawings, installation schedules and other items as requested.
Provide support and coordination of the installation and evaluation of specific alterations/changes to shipboard equipment/systems.
Maintain level I, II, and III engineering drawings, combat systems and special project engineering drawings, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs) and working plans in hard copy and electronic media formats.
Attend meetings, conferences, working groups, etc., in support of tasked programs
Maintain records in the Navy Data Environment (NDE) of scheduled and completed installations.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education – To Land This Gig You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s level degree in any field. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
2+ years’ professional experience in planning for shipboard modernization for any Combat System.
Possess a working knowledge of Liaison Action Records (LAR) and Ship Installation Drawings (SID).
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education – Favorable if you have:
Experience with AIT shipboard modifications to Combat Systems, processes, and 9090-310 standards
Understanding of Navy Modernization Process Maintenance Operation Manual
Superior organization and communication skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Pay Range:Pay Range $52,650.00 - $81,000.00 - $109,350.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
