Job Description:

Leidos is seeking an Associate Integration and Test Engineer to be a part of a team of test personnel to support design, development, integration, test, deployment, and training on an advanced distributed simulation system.  The position will be responsible for the day-to-day activity of verifying system designs, development, and implementation.  Test position may be both remote and local and may frequently require some of both.  it is expected that the position will require a command of operational and training applications and a high degree of knowledge of computer applications. The I&T position will require the ability to support training as well as occasional deployment in the field sites.  Travel is not expected to be extensive. 

A candidate will be responsible for performing the verification and validation of software and systems development. Duties include software requirements analysis and limited development of system test appliances and controls. A candidate may participate in integration testing with hardware products, development environments, distributed environments, point of need operations, network architectures, and other system level features and capabilities.

A successful candidate will possess the ability to interpret procedures and exercise steps, walk through complex user activities, and determine success or failure of the test procedures.  A successful candidate needs to demonstrate that they can solve simple, routine technical problems following established procedures and policies.  Preference is given to candidates who possess experience in the military training environment especially Army training.

Basic Qualifications:

·         Possess or be able to acquire a DOD Secret level clearance

·         Possess an AA or bachelor's degree in an appropriate field

·         Have at least 2 years demonstrated background in test, software, training systems or network operations

·         Demonstrate awareness and use of formalized test procedures and test processes, including documenting results

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience in Agile Development and Testing environment

·         Experience and background in Army Training environment

·         Knowledge of military network operations

·         Background in the military, especially in IT and/or data management

·         Certifications held related to data management, IA, security, or test

Pay Range:

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
