The Leidos Defense Group has an opening for a talented System/Network Administrator to work in the NIWC-PAC customer facility in San Diego to facilitate delivery of secure software tools to the Department of the Navy warfighters in the fleet production environments.
The responsibilities for this position include all aspects of system operation and maintenance for a suite of software tools in a DevSecOps environment within an Agile and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery model.

Responsibilities Include:
Daily duties include operation and maintenance of virtual environments, patching, updating tools, supporting vulnerability scans and resolving security vulnerabilities.
Must be able to work in a large team environment and collaborate when needed.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of prior relevant experience.
3 years of experience working with an application development team supporting software development, system/software architecture, and systems engineering utilizing an Agile development methodology.
2 years of recent experience with administering Linux and Windows servers.
2 years of recent experience implementing and maintaining virtual machines within the VMware vSphere.
Experience monitoring and securing both classified and unclassified servers via proper STIG and IA compliance.
Active IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE). Must obtain a CSWF Level II Linux certification; or a CSWF Level II Windows certification after start date.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to support program execution in a classified environment at NIWC-PAC.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
Active CSWF Level II certifications for Linux and/or Windows.
Experience with SonarQube, OpenSCAP, Coverity, JFrog Xray, CodeDx, Black Duck, other static and dynamic security analysis tools.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Cloud environments.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Junit.
Knowledge of Agile management and CM tools such as Jira, Jira, Jama, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Clearance Required:
Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
