The C4ISR Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Electronic Intelligence Analyst at the 57th Intelligence Squadron, 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, 16th Air Force, at Joint-Base San Antonio, Lackland Texas.
The TechELINT effort works under the Service Cryptologic Component (SCC) authorities of 16 AF and involves the conducting of cryptologic activities directly related to both tactical warfighting and national-level operations. In addition to feeding national databases, the mission tips off the ACC reprogramming community to anomalies found within existing data, the analyst provides timely TechELINT analysis, produces actionable intelligence products, and performs product management and dissemination. Additionally, the analyst extracts from digitized samples of an intercepted signal, or from formatted records reporting the intercept of a signal, the observable parameters which are used to identify a radar's emission and define the radar's modes of operation.
Primary Responsibilities:
The signals analyst must be able perform TechELINT analysis using the appropriate community approved tools to measure and derive signal parameters, then report the findings of such analyses in serialized SIGINT products. The signals analyst must be able to accurately represent radar signal characteristics in the Common Emitter Database (CED) and interpret how observed signal behavior relates to the likely engineering design and operating modes of radars for which the 57 IS has production responsibility. The signals analyst must be familiar with SIGINT collection organizations and how SIGINT information is stored and utilized throughout the intelligence community. The analysts shall develop and maintain consistency in processes, standards, and procedures with other mission organizations performing similar functions and end users.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience. (Department of Defense or National-Level Organizational experience may be substituted in place of degree requirements.)
- Certificate from a National Cryptologic School or University for SIGE3810 or similar equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating within the TechELINT and Electronic Warfare communities.
- Certificate from a National Cryptologic School or University for SIGE4810 and/or successful MESAP or MOSAP internship completion is highly desirable.
- Masters with 4-6 years of prior relevant experience. (Department of Defense or National-Level Organizational experience may be substituted in place of degree requirements.)
Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
