The Integrated Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking a Construction Manager. This position will be responsible for performing construction management and inspection for construction, repair, and renovation associated with Intel customer facilities and critical infrastructure. You have demonstrated experience in design and construction, well-developed professional skills and a proven track record of delivering results. Your ability to work collaboratively with a team of people from across multiple organizations and the
company will be crucial for success.
Primary Responsibilities
The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing construction operations to include:
Read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents (schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and related documents)
Analyze procedures to identify deficiencies
Review time/cost estimates
Monitor project phasing and ensuring adherence to approved safety standards • Observing and inspecting ongoing construction work
Oversee construction record keeping activities
Prepare and submit reports, and keeping a daily log of all activities
Review shop drawings and product submittals in a timely and accurate manner; and performing and documenting daily inspections of construction sites and ensure the Government’s best interest is served
Notify the Government of non-compliance with construction SOW and/or Government approved construction documents within 24 hours of inspection and providing an inspection report detailing the non-compliance
Track individual projects against construction and service contracts
Coordinate installation access with other contractors, and performing daily project visits
Respond to contractor Requests for Information (RFI)
Basic Qualifications
3-10+ years’ experience in Construction Management for all phases of construction projects.
Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 6+ years or prior relevant experience.
Experience in Construction Management for Intel customer with FFP and Cost-Plus projects
Versed in the International Building Code, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Fire
Codes and the NEC in addition to general construction practices
Experience in all aspects of building construction
Experience with mechanical projects (HVAC, plumbing), electrical projects, civil/structural
projects
Demonstrated the ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Current relevancy with the Intel customer will be considered a plus
PMP certification or equivalent
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
