Leidos has an immediate opening for a Learning Management System LMS) Functional System Administrator at Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX. The selected candidate will provide system administration and configuration of standard LMS server and specialized mission applications software, using and managing VMware virtual server to support LMS applications. Responsibilities will include:

• Create/build user environments within the LMS application

• Assign appropriate courseware permissions within the LMS application

• Manage LMS account management (i.e., creation, modification, deletion, etc.)

• Secure materials (i.e., testing data) within the LMS application

• Integrate provided content into the LMS application

• Provide training/documentation to faculty and/or staff in LMS application utilization

• Provides system administration of Blackboard Learn 9.x server and configuration of standard LMS mission applications

• Coordinate with IT staff to plan, analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate LMS/LCMS hosted educational content

• Ensure expedient LMS/LCMS end-user technical assistance processes

• Participate in the integration (planning, testing, and implementation) of new technologies in Blackboard and subcomponents to include Genius SIS, Collaborate

• Design e-learning course home page and ancillary virtual classroom content to support execution of respective educational objectives

• Monitor operation of LMS/LCMS course sites to ensure compliance with standards and achievement of operational goals

• Work with different content management systems; incorporate functionalities and features into websites

• Use appropriate web authoring software (e.g., HTML5) to support LMS/LCMS hosting of educational content

• Ensure IA and security compliance of all server applications, apply patches as required to meet IA controls

Required:

• 4+ years of system administration experience with a learning management system. Additional experience highly desired.

• Bachelor's degree (or experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).

• TS/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain.
