Job Description:
Leidos is seeking an intern to work at the NOAA/DOC Security Operations Center. This individual will support the SOC team’s mission in technical responsibilities as well as administrative responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will work to:
Learn analyst tools and functions
Organize and track tasks and project objectives
Review and update documentation
Update document repository
Review emails and escalate items of significance
Present information in well articulated manner as delegated
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Organized
Good communicator
Positive attitude
Candidates must be enrolled in a degree program or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Your GPA needs to be included on your application and resume.
US Citizenship Requirements Candidate must be able to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
Preferred Qualifications
To further your success in this role, it helps to have:
Majoring in the IT or cyber security field
An ability to work independently
A history of being self-sufficient and researching topics individually
Technical understanding of core cybersecurity technologies as well as emerging capabilities.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $36,400.00 - $56,000.00 - $75,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
