Job Description:
Leidos is looking for a UI/UX developer to support a mission focused project in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph in order to be considered.
The UI/UX Developer will work closely with UX Designers, Business Analysts, engineers, developers, and data scientists to learn from the users and produce low-high fidelity comps and prototypes which will be tested, iterated, and briefed for development. This role includes product centric interaction and interface design working on low-mid fidelity static comps and interactive prototypes. The UI/UX Developer will work on visual design initiatives that adhere to design principles overall consistency.
The successful candidate will join a high profile, fast-moving team of full-stack developers utilizing Java and JavaScript in a fluid agile environment catering to demanding stakeholders and highly visible applications. The team also works with mobile applications and utilizes the strict security environment. The select candidate will support a high profile program on a project that produces highly visible products for senior leadership. The individual will be responsible for activities associated with development, upgrades, maintenance, research and development and testing. Duties will relate to new and existing applications, features, web services, and major enhancements to include supporting in the areas of creation, coordination, dissemination, security and conveyance.
A key attribute will be professionalism and clarity in communicating with stakeholders, multiple and different layers of management, as much as with the technical team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or related discipline and minimum 12 years of work experience OR Masters and 10 years
Must have a TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance to be considered
Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript and React JS
5+ years experience developing intuitive web applications
Candidates must already possess an active TS/SCI FSP clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional written and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing user experiences
Proficient in visual design and wireframing tools
Reactjs, Nodejs/MERN stack experience is a plus
Pay Range:
Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
