Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a seasoned Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) at Lackland AFB for an upcoming positions. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance.

The ISSM is responsible for the development, administration and enforcement of information system security policies and procedures in support of the 16th AF at Lackland AFB.  The ISSM will provide oversight and accountability in Cybersecurity support services to assist ACC in maintaining an effective cybersecurity program. These include: Develop security plans IAW ACC, AF, IC, and DoD guidance and directives.  Gather data from appropriate personnel to analyze compliance and report results to Delegated Authorizing Officials (DAO's) and ACC Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).  Prepares Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documents following the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and workflow.  Interacts with local units (625th ACOMS) to provide cybersecurity assessments, courses of action, and solutions on how to improve the cybersecurity program in order to maintain an Authorization to Operate (ATO).  Responsible for ensuring COMPUSEC, EMSEC, and TEMPEST security safeguards and features are implemented for the information system and network.  This position will work closely in conjunction with a System Administrator (SA) in conducting periodic self assessments of the information system by testing security safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT systems and resources are protected.  Coordinate with a SA on all technical security issues, including monitoring all available resources that provide warnings to system vulnerabilities or ongoing attacks.  Assess changes to the system, its environment, and operational needs that could affect the security authorization. 

Qualifications:

Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance

Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, IT Security Management, Computer Science, or related Information Technology field

15 years of related experience

DoD IAT-II or above

Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its policies, guidance (i.e., NIST 800-53rev4, CNSSI 1253, ICD 503)

Experience with Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) on government or classified networks.

Working knowledge of eMASS or XACTA

Pay Range:

Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
