Job Description:

Leidos DISPATCHER program has a Dynamic opening for a MacOS System Administrator with Multi-Media Experience to work at our customer site . This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to support production of multimedia products in the planning, development, testing, certification, implementation, and maintenance of current and future Apple and Windows based multimedia systems, applications, and networks crossing multiple domains.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will take initiative and exercise resourcefulness to identify, research, and resolve technical problems, and provide support to other mission support systems

• Your support will include installation, upgrades, and maintenance for operating systems and applications; providing supporting data and documentation for systems and applications accreditation processes and change requests; verifying system, application, and configuration changes through testing and change management processes.

•  You’ll collaborate with the Tier 3 development and security  teams to share and obtain information on routine and non-routine maintenance and troubleshoot common systems, and their interactions with command systems infrastructure.

• Device management software in a mixed environment of Mac OS X and Windows operating systems. 

• Configure and maintain Apple Device Management solution of iMac endpoints.

• Create and administer Apple operating system installation and application packages  and provide patch management for applications and servers. 

• Create and update scripts (PowerShell and Bash).

• Resolve MySQL database server issues.

• Configure, test, and implement  requirements in accordance with Government IT security policies.

• Review of incidents, identify problems, apply problem solving, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills, and address them to resolution. 

• Create, update and maintain standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:

• Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance w/Poly to be considered

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related work experience OR12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.  

• Minimum of 3 years experience providing engineering support, specializing in Apple hardware and MAC operating systems

• Minimum 3-5 years experience with CentOS Linux system administration.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Effectively complete engineering projects with nominal direction

Pay Range:

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
