The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Manager to work in our Beavercreek, OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to support fielding new systems and products in support of various emerging US Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) programs related advancing emerging and promising technologies.

In this position you will have opportunities to provide technical and operational analysis of new and evolving sensor systems, assess advanced sensor technologies, and provide ground and flight demonstrations/tests. In addition, candidate will explore and perform sensor system integration into laboratories, aircraft, and other aero-structures, such as the AgilePod® family of systems. Must be able to work successfully with all levels of engineering, logistics, program management, and program leadership, AFLCMC directorates and headquarters, AFRL, HQ AFMC, Tri-Service DoD stakeholders, prime contractors and subcontractors, and other government and private sector personnel.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Provide supply chain related functions for a large technology portfolio: a multi-phased effort for both low performance and high-performance podded prototype development, testing and fielding for a newly established ACAT III program of record for AFLCMC.
Develop short and long-range strategies to track and mitigate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
Perform duties associated with production planning, inventory, and material procurement from multiple suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
Provide technical analysis, authorship and editing of counterfeit parts prevention plan and subsequent parts management planning activities.
Acquire, maintain, and inventory all Government Furnished Property (GFP) on assigned contracts.
Analyze, organize, plan, and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures.
Participate in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) meetings, program reviews, and other meetings as required.
Support the Product Support Manager (PSM) in their role as the total life cycle systems manager.
Administratively provide, track, and maintain status of CDRLs pertaining to logistics efforts.
Work with government and contractor counterparts to support engineering design efforts, follow on production, and developmental and operational flight test demonstration efforts as applicable.
Assists in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of the projects acquisition and lifecycle sustainment.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Candidate shall have knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform independently in the position as a Supply Chain Manager.
BA/BS degree with 2 years experience or 4-6 years of prior relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
Security Clearance Requirement
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD SECRET clearance
Preferred Qualifications, not required
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I or higher in Life Cycle Logistics
Direct DoD supply chain management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics with discipline in Supply Chain Management
Familiarity with MEARS and AVCOM data systems
Experience with DoD life cycle logistics management principles
Pay Range:Pay Range $52,650.00 - $81,000.00 - $109,350.00
