The Defense Group of Leidos has a current job opportunity for a Test Engineer supporting the Cyber TRIDENT Program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of systems.
• Participates in the design and building of test scenarios. 
• Writes test procedures and protocols to assess system reliability and evaluates the ability of systems to meet performance standards and specifications.
• Gathers test data and evaluates test results to determine if system designs and architecture meets specifications and performance expectations.
• Develops test simulations to evaluate how systems react under different conditions and analyzes system failure to assess the integrity and reliability of system performance. 
• Defines debug protocols for test hardware and software.
• Analyzes test cases and scenarios and reports results.
• Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade system performance.
• Provides technical advice to other organizations and leadership

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4 - 8 years of experience in a relevant field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Experience with detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating any test defects effectively.
• Experience with life cycle of software in military simulation systems.
• Experience with virtualization VMWare, Red Hat Linux, and Windows.
• Familiar with agile development methodologies and test-driven development.
• Requires Secret security clearance, and ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Preferred Experience:

• Functional experience in software testing related to Cyber Operations Training.
• Functional experience with test automation; creating automated test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration and testing, test planning, development, and execution testing.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Zephyr
• Hardware troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

Pay Range:

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
